Service Description:

Land Cover Classification for the year 2021 based on Sentinel 2 images. This land cover assessment was done in cooperation with EOSS (Earth Observation Solutions and Services). An object-based algorithm was applied for the whole TFCA and validated with existing Land Cover Maps from previous years (approximately 75% agreement has been observed).

A participatory accuracy assessment has also been carried out based on visual interpretation of the results, concluding that the product has reached more than 90% accuracy.
