Service Description: ForestForesight from WWF-NL creates predictions across the pantropical belt on a monthly basis for where deforestation will take place for the oncoming six months. These predictions are updated in the first week of every month. This shows the tile package. The values range between 0.5 and 1, derived from the probability of our machine learning algorithm, where the value of 0.5 has shown to be the best trade-off between precision and recall (see more on our confluence page, linked below here, on our way of working and metrics).

These predictions can and should be combined with our risk zones, on which it is based. These can also be found in the ArcGIS Online repository.
